It was great to attend the Central Coast Club Grants cheque presentation ceremony where we heard how the 29 registered clubs of the area are donating nearly $1.6million to 102 projects across 80 different community groups.

We have been lucky enough to receive funding from The Greens The Entrance to launch our new youth programme and additional funding from The Greens The Entrance and The Entrance Leagues Clubto purchase new sunsafe rash shirts for our Toowoon Bay Stingray Nippers inclusive nippers programme.

Toowoon Bay SLSC proudly recognises Denis Hannigan, Chris Manning and Doug Millard who have been awarded National Medals in SLSA National Medal Batch 57.

Chris and Denis have been awarded their first clasp (25 years service), Doug was awarded a medal (15 years service) for sustained and diligent service to SLS.

The National Medal is part of the Australian honours system, the National Medal acknowledges individuals who have demonstrated sustained and diligent service while protecting the community during emergencies and natural disasters.

Congratulations to John Vergara on being awarded Life Membership of Toowoon Bay SLSC at the 71st AGM yesterday. This prestigious honor is recognition of your more than 20 years dedicated service as a patrol captain, patrolling member, trainer, assessor, and facilitator. Your commitment to the club and the expertise you have shared have been invaluable to our operations and culture. Well done on this well deserved achievement.

Displayed at every Sunday Nippers session throughout the season, these flags help hundreds of nippers and their families find their age groups while giving your business fantastic exposure to our members, families and the wider community.
