The 2026 Youth Matters Conference is calling for Expressions of Interest from young people who want to showcase their work, share their ideas and connect with other emerging leaders from across Queensland. Taking place on Friday 17 April at the Queensland Multicultural Centre in Kangaroo Point, Youth Matters is a space to amplify lived experience, celebrate youth leadership and grow youth-led initiatives. A huge congratulations to Oliver Shaka for being selected to join the prestigious SSI Community Voice Advisory Panel (CVAP)! 👏

Oliver’s dedication, passion, and advocacy for the community have earned him this incredible opportunity, and we couldn’t be more proud! 🏆

His first meeting in Sydney is just around the corner on November 18th, and we know he will make a meaningful impact as part of this important panel. ✨
