is a commonwealth Government funded initiative that aims to provide confidential early intervention to newly arrived (five years or less) young people and their families who may be experiencing difficulties. is for 12-21 year olds from all cultural backgrounds who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, experiencing intergenerational conflict, family breakdowns and at risk of leaving education. - Counseling
- Family Mediation resolving conflicts
- Advocacy
- Practical help
- Educational & Training Support
- Inform and Links to other programs and services. SKILLS TO PAY THE BILLS;
The Skills to Pay the Bills Program is a 10 week employment and training program. This program will teach you all the skills you will require to successfully seek, secure and maintain employment, education and training as well as providing you with accredited training. This Program Features:
- 1 day a week accredited training (Certificate 1 Work Preparation & Senior First Aid)
- 1 day a week job preparation
- 1 day a week industry visits
1 day a week team building/life skills activities. The eligibility criteria for potential participants are:
- Aged 15-19 yrs old
- Culturally diverse
- Unemployed or Underemployed (25hrs or less)
- Not enrolled in education or training. MULTILINK YOUTH CLUB;
Youth Club is an after school program based at Ben Mattews Park. Youth Club provides a safe place where young people can hang out, make new friends, recieve assistance with their homework and participate in a variety of activities such as sports, games, art, movies, video games and music. Youth Club is run Monday - Friday
3pm - 5pm
(12-21yrs old)
Saturdays
9am-2pm
(8-17yrs old)
RAINBOW PLAYGROUP;
At Rainbow Playgroup children have fun, learn about the world and their place in it, through a safe environment. Playgroup is for parents or carers and their children up to 8 years. people from all cultural backgrounds are welcome. Rainbow Playgroup is run
