The Street University Logan The Street University is a youth development project created by the Noffs Foundation, which harnesses the full potential of young people aged 12-25.

The Street University is a pioneering youth movement that Public Enemy’s Chuck D called “a work of art”. The Street University concept is founded on an idea Ted Noffs envisioned in the 60s in Sydney - that is “No young person is a write off.”

Every Street University centre is unique. The programs are tailored to local young people’s interests and are often run by the young people themselves. Our

mantra is “For the street, by the street”

Whether you’re looking to hone your creative skills, move beyond your drug problems, find housing, do better at school, start a new business or even just finding a community to be a part of - the Street University is here for you. We have helped thousands upon thousands of young people find exciting new futures. Whether it’s hip hop, dance, graf or even business - we’re here to help you forge a future that is as unique as you!

It's no secret that The Street University is a hub for up & coming young talent. This is the place where so many young people have harnessed their skills. One of our young superstars is VV Pete. From the years perfecting her rhymes at TSU Mt Druitt to now being up on giant billboards in NYC, playing on major festivals and stages all over Australia.... VV Pete is a great example of what is possible with hard work and determination!

Check out this interview she did for us around 3 years ago, before most knew her name. In this old podcast she talks to our young hosts Clarissa Mei & Gibrillah about her journey, influences and dreams. Great way to reflect, as she's come a long way in only a few years! Can't wait to see where the world takes VV Pete next, but in the meantime, we will always be one of her OG Varvies! Brrrrap!

Vv is an upcoming female rapper. In a time where the scene is dominated by male figures, it is refreshing and exciting to see Vv enter the scene with her unapologetic lyrics and fresh style.

Come join the festivities feat DJ Blakey & DJ Daqs + live performances from a stack of young performers. Also, rumours are circulating that the TSU Staff Band (aka Juvenile Justice) will be back in the building to show off their skills!
