Vegetable growers and home gardeners in Albany need to be on the lookout for rust on their Alliums. Onion rust caused by Puccinia allii is being reported in the Albany area. This disease is present in the eastern part of Australia, but is new to Western Australia. Report suspected disease to DPIRD via MyPestGuideReporter App or DPIRD's Pest and Disease Information Service.
