The Country Women's Association of Victoria
This association was formed on March 12th 1928 to support women living in isolation and in difficult times. Today it provides a support network for women that encourages socialising, growth, friendship and learning. Bass Group is comprised of six branches, at Cowes, Coronet Bay, Glen Alvie, Grantville, Loch and Woodleigh Vale. The women meet at their va
rious branches for friendship, craft and to help their local communities. We are all very excited at present because the Creative Arts Exhibition will take place at Loch Public Hall on Saturday 12th and Sunday !3th of April. Items on display include knitting and crochet, craft and hobby work, needlework and embroidery, preserves, cooking, floral arrangements, plants and photography. There will also be demonstrations of spinning, china painting and other activities.
