Behind every widow is a story the world rarely sees. Nights spent worrying alone, decisions once shared now carried alone, and a strength she never asked for but had no choice but to find.

Islam teaches us that caring for widows is not charity, it is a trust. The Prophet ﷺ said that the one who cares for a widow is like one who strives in the way of Allah.

That’s why National Zakat Foundation is launching the Widows Support Group. A safe and welcoming space where sisters who have lost their husbands can connect, be heard and begin to heal.
