I have the most amazing news… Gina’s chapter with me has officially come to an end and she has been adopted 🥹🤍

Gina was rescued all the way back in May alongside her dad George. They came off the streets together, but eventually George found his forever home… while Gina stayed behind.

Day after day, she waited. She watched other cats come and go, watched them get chosen, while somehow she continued to be overlooked. Being shy meant people didn’t always get to see the beautiful little soul I was lucky enough to know 🥺

Then, after I posted Gina on TikTok on Sunday night, everything changed.

A lovely lady reached out, so excited about giving Gina a home and introducing her to her own shy girl, Tilly. The moment we spoke, I just knew. Two shy little souls who can learn to feel safe together. I truly think they are going to be the most beautiful pair. 🤍

Gina, I’m going to miss you more than you’ll ever understand. Watching you go from surviving on the streets to finally walking into a home of your own is exactly why I rescue. Letting them go is the hardest part, but knowing you’ll never have to wonder where you belong again makes every tear worth it. You waited so patiently for your turn, sweet girl. You were finally chosen.

Gina is currently settling into her new home at her own pace, and once she’s ready, I’ll be sharing updates on her progress. I cannot wait to watch her confidence grow and see the life she was always meant to have. Thank you to every single person who followed Gina’s journey, shared her posts, commented and hoped for her. These beautiful endings are why I keep rescuing.

🥺 100 DAYS WITHOUT A HOME 🥺

Today officially marks 100 days of Gina being in our care. For 100 days, she has watched other cats find their families while she continues to sit patiently, day after day, waiting for someone to finally look her way. 💔

Gina is around 2 years old and was born on the streets. We rescued her in May, and seeing how far she has come since then has been so special. She has adapted beautifully to indoor life and has learnt what it feels like to be safe, warm and cared for.

She is such a gentle, easy-going girl. She loves quietly playing with her toys, stretching out in a sunny spot and simply enjoying the comfort of being indoors.

Gina can be shy when she first meets you. She may not be the cat who runs straight into your arms, and we think that may be why she continues to be overlooked. But please don’t let that stop you from giving her a chance. She just needs someone patient enough to show her that she is finally home.

Once she feels safe, Gina has so much love to give. After spending the beginning of her life on the streets, she deserves a home where she can spend the rest of her life knowing she will never have to survive outside again.

- Easy to care for
- Can live with other cats with time and slow introductions
- Beautifully adjusted to indoor life

100 days is far too long to wait to be chosen.

These two beautiful brothers will be at our Adoption Day tomorrow for expressions of interest, and they’d love the chance to meet you.

Born together and rescued together, they’ve spent the last four months growing, healing and learning what love feels like in foster care. When they’re unsure, they still curl up beside each other for comfort. It’s all they’ve ever known.

They will be ready for their forever homes next week. They can be adopted separately, but if you have room in your heart and home for two, we would love nothing more than to see these boys stay together.

Once they feel safe, they’re the sweetest, cuddliest little souls with so much love to give. They deserve a family who will love them the way they’ve always deserved.

If you think you could be their forever family, come and meet Benji & Georgie tomorrow. You might just fall in love. 🩵🐾

The sweetest news… Archie has officially found his forever home. 🐾

This beautiful boy has been adopted and already has a new best friend to share his days with. Seeing him safe, loved and exactly where he belongs is what rescue is all about.

Watching these cats go from uncertainty to a life filled with love will never stop making my heart happy. Wishing Archie a lifetime of cuddles, happiness, and the beautiful future he deserves.

I’m so incredibly grateful that together we’ve raised $500 so far. Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared, your kindness means so much. 🤍

Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go. Tinkerbell can’t receive the treatment she desperately needs until the full amount has been raised.

She is still struggling to eat, and every day we have to wait is another day she continues to suffer. My heart breaks seeing her like this.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to every single person who donates to Sydney Paws Project 🤍

I’ve been noticing some familiar names donating week after week, and it honestly means more than you know. Because of your kindness, the colony cats haven’t gone without a single day.

It costs me around $30 every day to feed the colonies, and thanks to your support I’ve been able to spoil them with different foods and treats each day. Seeing them run over excited for dinner is one of my favourite parts of the day.

On top of that, I currently have a few rescue cats in my care at home. Your donations have helped provide everything they need from food, litter and beds to toys, enrichment and all the little essentials that help them feel safe while they wait for their forever homes.

I truly couldn’t do this without you. Every donation, no matter the size, is making a real difference in these cats lives and I am so incredibly grateful.

Once my current rescues have found their forever homes, my focus will be getting back to desexing the colony to help reduce the number of kittens being born on the streets. I’ll continue to share updates with you all along the way.
