Last month, men from across Bundjalung came together on Bandjalang Country for the 2026 Men’s Gathering.

Over the gathering, history, knowledge, stories of clans, culture, and connection were shared. Men took part in tool-making workshops, yarned together, and shared ideas about how we move forward — taking what they learned back to their families and communities.

The last gathering of this kind was held 23 years ago. With that in mind, the men spoke strongly about the importance of making gatherings like this happen more often for future generations.

A powerful few days of culture, learning, healing, and connection.
