Clarence Sea Scouts Cub Unit

Clarence Sea Scouts Cub Unit Clarence Sea Scouts Cub Unit, for 8 - 12 year old girls and boys meets Monday nights 6:30pm - 8:00pm What do Cub Scouts do? They most certainly do!

Clarence Cub Scouts are girls and boys aged 8 to 12 years old. They participate in loads of different types of activities, meeting weekly with extra activities programmed for some weekends. Cub Scouts do everything and have loads of fun while they are doing it! Cub Scouts participate in weekly meetings often in our Scout Hall but have regular outings to places such as Night Hikes, Tours of local g

roups or historic sites, visiting other cub units and heaps more outside activities. Cub Scouts wear a uniform so that everyone knows that they belong to a very special group of young people. We also have loads of weekend activities like camps (sometimes with themes like ‘Knights of the Round Table,’ ‘Pirates,’ ‘The Jungle Book’ and more) as well as special events like regional field days and participating in community events like the local ANZAC services

Do Cub Scouts earn Badges? There are badges in Cub Scouts for every type of interest, from sports to cooking, and travelling to electronics. Milestones (which help to develop skills) are earned for participating, assisting & leading activites at our weekly meetings. Some Cub Scouts even manage to earn a ‘Grey Wolf Award’ which is a special award for those who want to aim high! So why would I want to be a Cub Scout? Well if we haven’t convinced you come and try us out, the best part is you can try for free! What do I need to do to find out more? Message us and we will happily answer any further questions!
