Hello all
Did you know there is a planning application with council for 304 -322 Main St Lilydale. These are the 3 blocks between the car dealership on the corner of Anderson St & the CFA

The application is for a childcare centre for 130 children, plus a
1020m2 medical centre/ radiology
A Food & drink area of 248m2 and a
300m2 Pharmacy
The developers are proposing a basement car park for 88 cars with access from Hardy St and that is 34 carparks less than the statutory requirement. This concerns me a lot. First of all access and exit via Hardy St/ John Street will be another traffic disaster that the applicants claim will have no impact on traffic. Secondly we simply cannot afford to have a building approved with less than the statutory parking requirement. Where are these people going to park? Submissions supporting or objecting have to be in by 16th of this month. I intend to object to this application because of the reasons I have given above. If you are concerned about this development. Next week I'll be running the first of 3 free workshops on behalf of the Lilydale Business & Traders Group designed to reduce the impact of natural disasters on mental health whilst building resilience within our local community.

The topic of the first workshop is "How to survive & thrive when disaster hits your business".

This will be an engaging and informative session focused on enhancing your business wellbeing and developing the resilience needed to navigate difficult times.

It will provide an opportunity to consider what disaster events might impact your business, prepare mitigation strategies and find ways to keep you emotionally and mentally healthy and resilient.
