Appreciation Post for Our Volunteers🙏🙏🙏

Lightning Ridge has done it again! Another fantastic Opal Festival is behind us, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible people who gave their time to make it happen.

A very special thank you goes to Sebastian Deisenberger and his crew. They generously volunteered their time to build and prepare the exhibition booths before the festival, and after several long and busy days, they were back again on Sunday morning to pack everything down.

That was a huge effort and certainly not something we take for granted. Thank you, Sebastian, and thank you to every member of your crew. Your hard work and willingness to help made a real difference.

On behalf of our committee, we would also like to thank all of our volunteers. There are too many people to mention by name, but every contribution—big or small—helped make the festival such a success.

Thank you all for your time, your support and your community spirit. We couldn’t do it without you🫶🫶🫶

Make sure you find them and support them if you are visiting the festival and hunger sets in today!

These guys stepped in at incredibly short notice to help out after the festival experienced a shortage of food vendors. To get everything organised virtually overnight is nothing short of amazing. What a fantastic effort!

We said a fortnight ago it was our last pop up for the year. However, we heard the call and we'll be set up at the Lightning Ridge Opal Festival. Not our normal favourites but still fresh wholesome food!!
