The 1976–1981 Old Yanconians were among the largest groups attending the OYU Annual Reunion Dinner last Friday night. Marking 50 years since commencing at Yanco Ag, twenty-eight Yanconians and their partners gathered to celebrate this significant milestone.

In the lead-up to the dinner and throughout the Gala Day weekend, the group also decided to give back to the school by funding one of the Foundation’s 2027 Citizenship Scholarships. An incredibly generous gesture.

Yanco Ag enjoyed an outstanding 2025, with strong academic performance in both NAPLAN and HSC, remarkable individual and team sporting success, exceptional community contributions, and numerous agricultural show awards.

School farm improvements and successful stud sales further highlighted an excellent year.

The P&C events were also a feature of the year, with the Beach Carnival, McCaughey Ball and Transition Dinner among the highlights.

A well-organised Gala Day was unfortunately subdued by extreme heat.
The OYU and the Foundation all delivered impressive performances, making it a year to celebrate.
The 2025 YAHS Community Snapshot, featured in the soon-to-be-released Yanconians’ Foundation 2025 Annual Report, captures these triumphs and sets the stage for an even more exciting 2026.
