Our recruits conducted their recruits course and are now qualified Cadets, they learnt the fundamentals and basics of being a cadet whilst upholding our core values.
A number of our Cadets also took part in their junior leaders course (LCPL course), this course is the first step for our cadets to progress through our rank structure and learn a higher form or leadership. Their role now is to inspire, teach and lead our future recruits and cadets.
Overall a successful weekend with Leeton taking home majority of the awards, student of merit recruits course - Cadet Mawer and student of merit LCPL course - LCPL Martin. Great work to all the cadets that attended, we'll see you on the next camp!

An awesome day today flying with the 340 SQN and 223 Army Cadet Unit Leeton.

A big thank you to the Griffith Aero Club and Griffith City Council for supporting this activity this weekend.

This training is to foster an early interest in flying, all Cadets in their first year of membership, with parental consent, have access to at least one non-instructional aviation experience flight, at no cost to the cadet. Participants receive a formal pre-flight briefing, then fly as passengers where they partake in and observe a complete flight experience.

Aviation training could not be possible without the Aviation Operations Wing, AAFC. Thank you for giving up your time to give our cadets a fantastic opportunity. We look foward to seeing you in 2026
