A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning. All welcome to walk, jog, run or volunteer.

We had a great event yesterday for event 255, visitors and a lot of bark-walkers and twalkers.

Big thanks to all our volunteers for the morning.

For event 256 we need a few roles filled.
Timekeeper sorted
Finish tokens sorted
Marshal
Course checker
First Timers Welcome sorted

If you can help that would be really good so we can go ahead on Saturday.

We had event 255 today, 52 people attended, 46 people ran, jogged and walked the course.

We had 5 first timers.
And 8 recorded new Personal Bests.

Great to have to visiting Event Directors, Chris and Andrea

Congratulations Hannah on 50 parkruns and Neve 10.

We had 40 people at event 254 today where 35 people ran, jogged and walked the course.
2 were first timers
7 recorded new Personal Bests.

If you can help with setup or course check it would be really good over the winter months, just check the roster to make sure a different person is down for both roles. One can do it in summer but it’s too dark to do all.

Thanks to our volunteers each week. For those Timekeeping or Barcode Scanning, at the end of the event you are asked to scan a QR code which tells the app what event the data is from.
You are also asked to scan your parkrun barcode number or write your name.
You can put your barcode into the app so it’s there all the time. It’s in the settings symbol in the top right.
Ok if it’s your phone but not so useful if there are multiple users of the phone.

Great day yesterday for event 252 and here is the start.

We do need a few volunteers for event 253 so if you can help that would be great. Big thanks to those that have offered to volunteer already.
