Bullcreek Leeming Junior Football Club

Bullcreek Leeming Junior Football Club founded in 1977. The Club played in jumpers borrowed from the Bullcreek Primary School.

* Bullcreek Leeming Junior Football Club began in 1977.
* The Club’s first President was Ken Birrell.
* John Creaney Reserve was the Club’s home oval.
* The Club fielded one team in this year – 12s white.
* The Club’s first game was played on 17 April 1977 at Gairlock Oval against Applecross.
* The First Little League Game was played at West Perth on 22 April 1978. Many of the Club’s committee mee

tings were held in this Primary School during the 70′s and 80′s. In 1978 a logo competition was held. Paul and Matthew Rigby won this competition. The logo was to go on White T/Shirts which players could use for training. The Club’s first jumper design was navy blue with a light blue sash. In 1996 the Club changed it’s design to which was modelled along the lines of the original Dockers jumper. The colours being navy blue, light blue and white. The jumper was tweaked in 2004 when the white area (similar to the white of the anchor in the Dockers jumper) was widened and Navy blue was added to the bottom.

A huge congratulations to Jess Green on making her WAFLW debut for Perth on the weekend. A fantastic milestone and a proud moment that reflects all the hard work, dedication and perseverance you’ve shown throughout your football journey.

Making your debut at WAFLW level is a special achievement and one that has been thoroughly earned. Wishing you every success for the rest of the season - we can’t wait to see what comes next.

It seems Bullcreek Leeming JFC past and present players are the gift that keeps on giving to WA Football! 🏉

Congratulations once again, another great accolade bestowed upon former BLJFC player, Sienna Lilly, on being selected in the AAMI WA Football State 18s Girls squad and named in the leadership group ahead of the AFLW National Under-18s Championships commencing in June.

Selection in the State 18s squad recognises players with the potential to progress to higher levels of football, including AFLW and long-term WAFLW careers. Sienna was also part of the initial group selected for the AAMI WA Football Summer Pre-Season 18s Program.

We are incredibly proud to see Sienna’s hard work, dedication, and talent being recognised once again, and this time at the state level!. We wish her and the WA squad all the very best for the upcoming rounds! 💙💛

The WA U16 State AFL program is the premier development pathway for Western Australia’s most talented junior footballers. Managed by WA Football, the program brings together the state’s best 15–16-year-old prospects to compete at the annual AFL/AFLW National Development Championships. 🏉🔥

Jayden Makanza - No. 25 and Aiden Wilson - No. 29 for successfully being chosen.

An incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment both boys continue to show on and off the field.

🦸‍♂️ SUPERHERO’S ROUND - YOU ALL LOOKED AMAZING 🦸‍♀️

A huge thank you to everyone who dressed up and made such an incredible effort for our Super Kids Superheroes Round at Bullcreek Leeming Junior Football Club! 🦸‍♀️

It was fantastic to see so many kids, families, and supporters getting involved for such an important cause. Thanks to your generosity and support, we proudly raised $168 to go towards The Kids’ Cancer Project 💛

We truly appreciate everyone who donated, and made the effort to dress up and help make the day so much fun. What a great community effort by all. Well done Auskickers!

Please be aware that the BLJFC Annual General Meeting (AGM), originally held last Friday 17th October, was adjourned due to not meeting the required quorum.

As per our club's constitution, the AGM has been rescheduled as follows:
Date: Friday 24th October
Time: 5pm
Venue: BLJFC Clubrooms
**No refreshments supplied as clubroom is booked for an event at 6pm**

Please Note: We encourage all members to make every effort to attend the rescheduled meeting. If quorum is not met, we will be unable to form a committee and the future of the Club will be at serious risk. This is a critical time for BLJFC, and we urge as many members as possible to attend.
