WA's dedicated all ages live music and arts space. Programs Case Work, Sweet Oblivion. DRIP + more

We also run various workshops, events, and festivals throughout the year such as ‘DRIP’, ‘HQ How To’, ‘Sweet Oblivion’ and ‘Collision Fest’. . On top of this, we offer Case Work services for anyone aged 12-25 for free.

YOUTH SQUAD ARE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS!

Youth Squad is a group of inspired volunteers that have a passion for live music & events, local artists & getting involved in their community. We get to learn valuable skills across event management, artist liaison, booking, marketing and so much more.

Meetings are every Tuesday from 4pm - 6pm at The Y HQ, Leederville.

Applications are in link in bio. Please note - there are limited spots available.
We will respond to applications in July.

Australian indie alt-rock trio Polly have announced the Maybe Australian Tour in support of their new EP Maybe. (AND WE'RE GETTING AN ALL AGES SHOW - WOOHOO!!)

The announcement follows the release of recent single Tell Your Friends, a raw and resonant track that highlights Polly’s balance of vulnerability and intensity.

Polly have steadily built momentum off the back of a string of releases earning national attention, including support from triple j and triple j Unearthed. Known for their energetic live shows and honest, guitar-driven songwriting, the three-piece have quickly established themselves as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging indie acts.

Having already shared stages with Spacey Jane, Hockey Dad, The Belair Lip Bombs and The Grogans, Polly now bring that growing reputation to a full national run, with the Maybe tour set to introduce the band to their widest audience yet.

Drawing inspiration from 90s alternative rock/metal and 2000s shoegaze, blends angsty foundations of drums and bass with droning guitar lines, heavy riffs and ethereal vocals. Incorporating elements from bands such as Hum, Fleshwater, Silverchair, Deftones and The Smashing Pumpkins Lillith looks to innovate in creating music that speaks to listeners as much as themselves.

PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR THE OPENING ACT OF SERPENTINE'S SWEET OBLIVION 🎸🔥

are a grunge, rock, and punk band from Perth, Australia, featuring James on guitar and vocals, Aayla on guitar, Oscar on drums, and Lucy on bass. They’ve released two EPs in the past year, with them surpassing 10,000 streams. Asterism have sold out shows at the Indi Bar, and the Four5Nine bar, and have garned a crowd of 200 people at Cockburn Youth Centre. Known for their high energy performance, and captivating stage presence, they bring raw energy and personality to every performance.
