In early September this year Central Mountains men’s shed had a session on how to use our fire extinguishers in case of an emergency at our shed. The demonstration was headed by member Michael van den Bout who win the previous life was a fire brigade member. Michael showed us how to use CO2 and dry powder extinguishers of which many members had no idea the exact way in which they were used to extinguish a fire. As the photos indicate you can see various methods of doubting what was a petrol and diesel fire set up for the demonstration.

Shortly Central Mountains Men’s Shed will be acquiring a brand new Bambu 3D printer to be housed in the West Wing alongside our CO2 laser printer.

A great farewell lunch for one of our founding members, David Caton and his wife Patricia who are moving to Wagga Wagga to be closer to family.

David did an outstanding job as our Bunnings BBQ Captain leading the volunteers to achieve great results.

Patricia kept all our shed members well fed with yummy cakes, slices, sausage and savoury rolls and so much more.

Thank you David & Patricia for your service to our shed and for providing for our expanding waistlines.

You will be sorely missed by all,
