As I don’t store furniture here due to limited space we have 2 separate lovely members who have a bassinet up for grabs and a double recliner and a single recliner.

Please note with the couch, it all needs to go together and must be collected. There is no option for delivery.

The bassinet must be collected too.

First of all, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who continues to donate items to Together We Rise. 🫶 Every donation, big or small, helps us support local families who are doing it tough, and we are so grateful for the generosity and kindness shown by our community ❤️

I just wanted to put out a gentle reminder about the condition of donated items.

✨ Please ensure all donated items are NEW, in EXCELLENT condition or in GOOD, clean, used condition.

Recently, we’ve noticed an increase in clothing that has a strong smell of mothballs or cigarette smoke. While I completely understand that some people smoke, and there is absolutely no judgement around that, when clothing has a strong, lingering smell of smoke, it becomes difficult to pass those items on to another family.

The same applies to the strong smell of mothballs. Unfortunately, these items cannot always be passed on to families in the condition they are received.

I do my best to wash clothing when I receive large amounts, but as Together We Rise is run around my own family and other commitments, I simply don’t have the time or resources to wash every donation that comes through ❤️

We ask that donated clothing be clean, fresh and ready to be loved by another family. Please take a moment to check items before donating them. If a smell is particularly strong or difficult to remove, we kindly ask that you hold off donating those items.

🧺 A little extra help!

If anyone would like to donate laundry liquid or fabric softener, these would absolutely be put to good use! Every little bit helps me prepare donations and ensure items are ready to go to families who need them ❤️

Please know this post isn’t about criticising anyone. We appreciate every single person who thinks of us when they have items to pass on. We simply want to make sure the things we give to families are things we would feel comfortable receiving ourselves.

Together We Rise is built on kindness, compassion and community, and we want every family receiving support to feel valued, respected and cared for 🫶

Thank you for understanding, for continuing to support what we do, and for helping us make a difference in the lives of local families.

A massive thank you to the Team at Hutcheon & Pearce Albury for their generous donation of toys to help support our local families doing it tough.

Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us at Together We Rise. These toys will help bring smiles to little faces and a little extra joy to families who may be going through a difficult time.

Sometimes, something as simple as a toy can make a world of difference to a child and their family. Knowing we have local businesses willing to step up and support their community reminds us just how special our community really is 🫶

As a small, community led initiative, word of mouth and community support mean the world to us 🥹❤️

Together We Rise was created to help local families who may be going through difficult times, whether they’re experiencing financial hardship, fleeing domestic violence, navigating unexpected circumstances, or simply needing a little extra support.

We collect new and pre loved items throughout the year and pass them on to families who need them, completely free of charge. We don’t accept money, and we’re not a registered charity. We’re simply a community coming together to support one another 🤍

🎃👻 HALLOWEEN KINDNESS — TOGETHER WE RISE 👻🎃

Halloween isn’t something everyone celebrates, and we completely understand that ❤️

But for those who do, I’d love to create some special Halloween bags for the children and families we have supported, filled with a few little treats, activities and spooky surprises 🧡🖤

If you’re having a clean out and have any Halloween items you no longer need, we would absolutely love to give them a new home!

Some things we’re looking for include:

🎃 House & outdoor decorations
👻 Indoor decorations
🕷️ Spider web
🎨 Halloween craft supplies
🧙 Costumes & dress-ups
🍬 Goody bags
🎃 Halloween kids’ activities
👻 Halloween squishies
🍭 Halloween lollies
🍫 Halloween chocolates
🛍️ Clear lolly bags

And honestly, if you’re heading into Kmart, Big W, Reject Shop or another store and feel like grabbing a couple of little Halloween goodies, it would be so incredibly appreciated 🥹🧡

You don’t need to spend a lot. Even a packet of Halloween lollies, a few little toys, some clear bags or a small craft activity can help us put together something really special for a child.

Every little contribution adds up, and it means we can spread a bit of fun, kindness and Halloween magic to children who may not otherwise get the opportunity 🎃✨

💙 Beyblades & Stadiums Wanted 💙

Hi everyone! 😊

I thought I’d reach out to this beautiful group to see if anyone happens to have any Beyblades and/or Beyblade stadiums that their little ones have outgrown and no longer use.

My little boy has recently become obsessed with Beyblades 😂 and I thought I’d see if anyone has some sitting around that they’d be happy to pass on to a new little fan. 🥰

We’d be very grateful for anything that’s no longer being used, even a few Beyblades to create a collection for him ❤️
