I personally want to thank everyone who has given me the space to deal with some personal matters lately. Your support and patience truly haven’t gone unnoticed.

While donations are currently on pause, I’ve still been able to quietly support a number of families using the excess items I had stored.

I’ve had local case managers reach out for assistance where support couldn’t be secured elsewhere, along with families in really difficult situations who just needed a small pick me up during a tough time.

Here are some photos of items that were put together for collection.

A heartfelt thank you to one of my dearest friends, who runs a styling business, for donating multiple doonas and pillows in beautiful quilt covers. These went out to several families, helping them feel warm, cared for, and ready for the colder months ahead.

Hello everyone 💔

🚨 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 🚨

I don’t know how to say this lightly without letting anyone down or causing disappointment, but I need to put a pause on all donations for the time being due to personal reasons that I need to attend to first 😔

When I first started this group, I never imagined it would grow so quickly or receive such incredible support. The likes, shares, comments, and messages have truly blown me away 🥺💛

This decision has not been made lightly, as it wasn’t part of my plan, but right now I need to take a step back and have a much needed break 💭

Please don’t ever stop thinking about our little group 💛

Just a reminder, we are NOT a charity ❌ We do not receive government grants or funding.

I also need to be very clear moving forward ⚠️We are not a tip service 🚫

If you wouldn’t dress your own child (or yourself) in those clothes, sleep on that bedding, or use those household items — please DO NOT donate them 🙏

All items must be in gently used condition ✨

🚫 No stains
🚫 No rips
🚫 No holes

If they’re not in a condition that someone else can actually use, please don’t pass them on 💔

I understand that donating to an op shop can be easier, especially if you don’t have time to sort 🛍️

But if you truly want to help the community directly, without overheads or profits, I kindly ask that items are at least sorted into sizes 📦

Gender doesn’t matter to me, but sizes make a huge difference 🙏

Having items sorted saves me a lot of time, so I can focus on what’s really important, the people needing help, and my own two little ones 👶💛

The same applies to electrical items 🔌

I don’t have the capacity to test everything, so please ensure anything you donate is in working order ✔️ This helps save both time and money.

As we take this pause ⏸️

If you’re happy to hold onto your donations, that would be greatly appreciated 💛

If not, I completely understand, but for now, I need to step away and focus on something personal 😞

I promise I will be back… I just need a little time 🕊️

Once again, thank you to every single person who supports this group and helps “pay it forward.” Without you, none of this would be possible 🥺💛

🌟 It literally takes a village and TOGETHER WE make a difference!

Yours sincerely,
Bri

Morning everyone,

Just a quick notice, NO donations today please. I have had multiple people try and drop off and I am not there. I won’t be there due to the public holiday. The kids have birthday parties to attend, so we’ll be out for the day.

Please don’t just drop items off, as it can be quite overwhelming for myself to come back to things that need sorting.

Donations can resume on Wednesday or Friday.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support, it truly means the world, not just to me but to those you’re directly helping 💛

This was lot number 1, with a quick request coming through Friday we were able to help her with the basics and then add as she needed.

Doing this keeps me alive, without Together we rise I never would have met so many struggling people and families. It absolutely motivates me even more hearing there stories.

This morning on my way running errands I was able to drop off some baby items and girl clothing to a local family who just found out the gender for their baby 😍

As we get more items we will be able to help ease the financial discomfort that comes with babies 👶

This is the second lot of items that were ready for a mum and her children who just secured keys to their home 🏠
We were able to provide them with so many essentials and we will still be able to continue to get back on her feet ❤️

Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of those who served and fought for our country on Anzac Day.

Their bravery and mateship live on through the generations, reminding us of the strength found in unity and community. We honour them not just today, but every day. Lest we forget. 🌺

At Together We Rise, we are incredibly grateful for the support and generosity shown by our community.

Just a quick update, we will not be accepting any donations this weekend. I’ll be using this time to complete stocktake and organise storage so we can continue helping those in need as effectively as possible.

Please hold onto your donations for now, we absolutely will still accept them, I just need a little time to sort everything as it is currently just me managing it all.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support ❤️

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to jump on and clear a few things up. I was tagged in a post today about a large donation, and I noticed a comment from an anonymous member saying I didn’t get back to them. They’ve since blocked the page, which is completely their choice, everyone is entitled to their own actions, and maybe we just weren’t the right fit for them.

I do want to gently remind everyone that I’m just one person, raising three children, working part time, and juggling appointments, activities, and everyday mum life, all while running this group purely out of kindness to help our community.

If I haven’t responded to you, please don’t take it personally. Sometimes messages get missed, opened and forgotten, or buried. I receive around 8–12 messages a day, so if you haven’t heard back, please send me a follow up to bump your message. I truly appreciate your patience.

It’s never that I don’t want your donation or that I’m ignoring anyone. My priority is making sure my family is okay first, and then I do my best to support everyone else.

My goal is to keep this group honest, welcoming, and running all year round, a safe space for anyone who needs a helping hand. Whether you’re going through a tough day, week, or year… grieving, healing, leaving a difficult situation, caring for others, or just struggling financially, you are always welcome here.

Please feel free to message me privately. My inbox is always open, and I’ll always do my best to support you.

Always,
Bri 🌻
