This support is already making a world of difference for clients like Sharon, giving her independence around the ward while practicing safe chair-driving skills for her return home post-discharge.
Equipment like this helps our patients gain the confidence and mobility they need to transition safely back home. We are so grateful for your continued support! 🌟

# # 👏 Celebrating Excellence in Hand Hygiene!
A massive congratulations to the **Emergency Department** for winning the **May 2026 Hand Hygiene Award** for the *Most Improved* department!
On May 14th, 2026, members of the Central Auxiliary—Shanley Piper, Fiona Clarke, and Helen Hodgetts—visited the ED to proudly present the trophy to the staff. It was a wonderful turnout, with a large group of the ED team gathering to celebrate this fantastic achievement. Special thanks also to Fiona De Sousa from the Infectious Disease Department for joining the celebration and supporting this crucial milestone in patient safety.
