Some investments are measured in dollars.
Others are measured in generations.
This EOFY, make your tax-deductible donation count and help us reach $200,000 for Truth-Telling at Wybalenna.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, significant progress has already been made on this important project. Funds raised to date have helped bring the vision to life, supporting key stages of development and creating strong foundations for truth-telling at one of the most significant places in Palawa history.
But while much has been achieved, there is still so much more to do.
Further work is needed to protect and share our stories, and continue developing Wybalenna as a place of learning, reflection and truth-telling for future generations.
Before 30 June, your tax-deductible donation can help support the next stage of this journey.
Long after the financial year ends, the impact of your contribution can continue.
Help us reach $200,000 and invest in a legacy that will endure for generations to come.

Heartbreaking πŸ’”

A preventable destruction. Solutions could have been worked through together if only we worked in partnership and Aboriginal people were recognised as owners and decision makers over our own heritage, just like non-Aboriginal people have over European heritage.

A new walking and cycling path has been built over what an Aboriginal organisation describes as a "significant" cultural site in northern Tasmania β€” and it didn't require a permit.

When Country comes home, it benefits everyone.

Places like Loongana will remain open for respectful activities, such as bushwalking, kayaking, fishing, and citizen science. πŸŽ£πŸ›ΆπŸ“ΈπŸ”¬πŸ₯Ύ

It’s about care, respect and shared responsibility.🌟

πŸ“ Loongana β€” 26.8 hectares of forest, wildlife and waterways

Masked owls, giant freshwater crayfish, Tassie devils, Spotted Quolls, precious waterways – this land will be healed, cared for and protected – forever.

And all Tasmanians will still be able to visit and experience the wonder of this place.

At Collinsvale, 5.5 hectares of Country has been returned πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

A freshwater creek runs through it, which is home to platypuses and many other insects, fish, birds, and other animals.

This is where Community gathered.
Where monitoring begins.
Where healing starts.

And where the next generation will learn on their own land.

Our deepest gratitude to Marianne for doing the right thing and returning Country home. πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ
