Open invitation to join 2024 Christmas Parade this Saturday 7 December morning 11am wearing our traditional Filipiniana or any Filipino costume. Head straight to Riverbend Park afterwards for our annual Pinoy Christmas BBQ and year end fun and games! 🎉🎄🎊🎈

The City of Launceston Lions Club Christmas Parade 2024 is on from 11am this Saturday (December 7), with close to 40 entrants in the parade.

Motorists are advised the following road closures will be in place on Saturday (December 7):

7.30am - 1pm
• Esplanade between Tamar St & St John St, and Lower Charles St & St John Street.
• Shields St between Esplanade & William St.

10.30am - 1pm
• William St between Harvey Norman carpark access and Beacon Lighting car park access
• Cimitiere St between Charles St and George St
• Cameron St between St John St and George St
• Paterson St between Wellington St and St John St
• Brisbane St between Kingsway and George St
• York St between Kingsway and George St
• Elizabeth St between Wellington St and Elizabeth St Carpark
• St John St between Esplanade and Frederick St
• Charles St between Paterson St and Frederick St

Please not the Paterson St West Carpark entry and exit will be closed between 10.30am - 1pm. The Paterson St East Carpark entry will be closed from 10.30am - 1pm but exit is still available.
