Let’s Fly Together 🪁

Creative Journey Foundation was proud to support Project North’s Let’s Fly Together community event, with five volunteers helping to supervise children, set up kites, and promote safe kite flying.

This initiative reflects our commitment to collaboration, community engagement, and inclusion. Through small steps and shared efforts, we aim to build stronger connections and create a sense of belonging for everyone.

Together, we build a more connected and inclusive community. 🤝

This morning, Creative Journey Foundation organised a morning walk for people of all ages in support of The Big Tassie Walk, an initiative by MRC Tas.

It was a truly meaningful and inspiring morning for our community. Coming together, walking side by side, and sharing the message that we all belong here made the event even more special.

We feel incredibly grateful to be part of this wonderful campaign and to help promote a greater understanding of multiculturalism, harmony, inclusion, love and respect.

Together, we can celebrate our diversity, connect with one another, and create a stronger and more inclusive Tasmania.

We were pleased to hold a Cyber Security Awareness Session at Rocherlea Community Hall, with 20 community members participating.

The session focused on the importance of understanding scams and learning practical ways to protect ourselves from different types of scams in our increasingly digital world. Participants actively engaged in the discussion and generously shared their own experiences, helping create an open and informative learning environment.

A big thank you to our trainers Yadav Magar, Lalita Yamphu and Obeth Rai for sharing their knowledge and supporting our community to build digital confidence and awareness.

This initiative is part of the Thriving Together project, funded by the Scanlon Foundation and led by the Nepali Society of Northern Tasmania.

Together, we can build a more informed, connected and resilient community.

A very meaningful and positive discussion with honourable Jeremy Rockliff Premier of Tasmania and Nick Duigan MLC, Minister for Sport.

We had the wonderful opportunity to share our ideas and discuss several important topics, including support for celebrating our diverse festivals, the vital role of community sports clubs, funding opportunities, and the development of new creative programs and facilities for our community.

A special thank you to Santosh Adhikari for organising this meeting and inviting us to be part of such an important and constructive conversation.

Together, we look forward to creating more opportunities, building stronger connections, and working towards a brighter and more inclusive future for our community.

Today, our Creative Team enjoyed a wonderful day of BBQ, fun, laughter and community connection.

We were honoured to welcome Susie Cai and Krista Preece, both candidates for Councillor and Deputy Mayor, who kindly shared valuable information about the upcoming local election. Thank you both for taking the time to visit and connect with our community.

Our students, parents and children actively participated in the activities and also helped clean and care for the surrounding area. Their teamwork and community spirit were truly inspiring.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made the day so special! Together, we celebrate culture, build connections and inspire the next generation.
