Today is the day Auntie Lisa has her final session of Radiation🎉💗🎗
What a roller coaster of a journey..
From being diagnosed on the 19th of December 2018, a day we will never forget 😭💔
To 5 months of harsh chemo treatment beginning the 2nd of January 2019 until May 2019 starting with a trip to Hobart by air scaring us all when the infusaport snapped off in her heart😪
26th of June 2019 she underwent her operation of a masectomy.
First week of July 2019 was told the news we all wanted to hear.. the treatment was working
Then daily radiation from the 18th of September until Today 25th of October 2019 which has been no walk in the park either.
High temperatures, infections, hot flushes, nausea, cravings, blisters, aching pains.. you name it, she has had it😭
In February and August 2019 her angels- Isla Jane and Willow Grace joined us to help her on her journey and give her a reason to fight harder and smile bigger even on days when she had, had enough👼👼
There have been many tears shed but plenty of laughs in between. I have been worried sick about her on many occasions but never has she ever wanted me to worry about her. Always saying "I'm okay darls" "there is worse off out there than me darls." As you will see in one of the pics... I was heavily pregnant a blubbering mess and here she was in a plane by herself, getting flow to Hobart for an operation as the infusaport had snapped off in her heart and she would have been so scared but she reassured me she was okay " im ok darls ###" and to worry about me and the baby. 💕
She has continued to work when she could, and even when she probably shouldnt have.. she still went anyway and looked after others.
She is a fighter. She is a warrior. Her strength, courage, positivity and outlook is an inspiration.
My Hero, My Auntie 💕
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following her journey, helping her, sending love, donations, presents, well wishes and thoughts. Her family are eternally grateful🥰
