Rotary Club of Launceston

Rotary Club of Launceston The Rotary Club of Launceston in northern Tasmania, Australia was chartered in 1924.

The Rotary Club of Launceston was the foundation stone of Rotary in Tasmania. The Rotary Club of Launceston has a long history including sponsoring the formation of a further 12 Rotary Clubs in District 9830. The Rotary Club of Launceston encourages Rotarians to apply the ideal of service in their personal, business and community life. Members of the Rotary Club of Launceston are volunteers in man

y local projects. These voluntary activities make the Rotary Club of Launceston part of the life of our local city of about 100,000 people. These volunteer projects and events allow the club to finance or support a range of local organisations, contribute to interstate natural disaster funds and to be involved in international humanitarian projects connected with the Rotary Foundation.

We would like to acknowledge event Platinum sponsors City of Launceston Official, LAFM & Chilli 90.1fm. Without their generous support we would not be able to host this fantastic event. We also want to give a huge shout out to those people who are signed up o compete, and those who have signed up to help on the day. If want to be involved (but not in a boat!) get in touch and we can find a way for you to help on the day.

This time next week Soggy26 will have been paddled and won! FOMO is a thing, but we don't want you to miss out on this quirky event. It's not too late to build your cardboard boat and register to support Diabetes Australia in Tasmania Camps for Kids, JCP Youth BEAST Program and Rotary Club of Launceston's School Holiday Breakfast Hamper Program.
