Tasmanian Speaking Made easy groups came together in the lovely town of Ross for a day of training.
Training focus was on:
✅Learning formal meeting practice motions
✅Formal mock meeting
✅Adviser training to give feedback on a meeting
✅Impromptu speaking opportunities
✅Two planned speeches
✅Workshopping aspects in groups
✅A workshop on humour in speech by Sandra
✅Humorous word of the day by Teegan-"Bumfuzzle"
✅Creative fun by making peg dolls
The meeting was very ably chaired by Elaine who was calm in guiding members through the practise motions and maintaining the peace.
A very productive and enjoyable training day.
