Saturday mornings in the heart of the Tamar Valley, Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market brightens a quiet inner city car park and brings the farm gate to you. Meet the farmers, connect with locals and feast your eyes on baskets brimming with Tasmania's freshest seasonal produce, artificial hormone-free meat, organic dairy, artisan bread and pastries, bright summer berries or blushing autumn apples. Savour a locally roasted coffee and taste your way around our foodie State at this vibrant weekly event before collecting a myriad of premium produce, cool-climate wines, artisan ciders and home-made preserves for the journey home.

By the time you're wandering through on a Saturday morning, coffee in hand, most of the hard work is already done, and most of us have no idea it even happened.

Wouter from Seven Springs Farm gave us a look into what actually goes into a single Saturday, planning from Monday, picking and packing through the week, and a Friday that can run well past dark depending on how kind the weather's feeling. All so what lands on your plate that morning is as fresh as it possibly can be.

Next time you're grabbing your vegetables, know there's a full week behind them that you never see.

Last stop of the scavenger hunt is our own car park, but it's not the last voucher. Keep looking here on market day, and don't rule out City Park or Quadrant Mall either, there's still a few out there.

Found one? Redeem it with any of our stallholders on the day.

Mark it down: Saturday 10 October, smack in the middle of school holidays, we're throwing a family-friendly Breakfast DJ Set from 9am to 10:30am. DJ Track and Field is on the decks, alcohol and drug free, all ages welcome.

Come do your shopping, grab a coffee, have a dance, bring the kids. Just a normal Harvest Saturday, with a bit of a soundtrack.

Last drop. 🎯

Here's your clue: you've dodged real traffic and foot traffic to get this far. The last stop's the easiest, it's the one place in town where all the traffic's headed on a Saturday morning.

Two drops down, one to go. If you're lucky, there might even be a few left to find on the morning of the event itself.

Still hunting? City Park and Quadrant Mall are still worth a look, not everything's been found yet.

This Saturday morning, Harvest sounds a little different. 🎧

Our first ever Breakfast DJ Set is nearly here. is on from 9am to 10:30am, with a dedicated Kids Club set from 9 to 9:45 am and an Adults Club set from 9:45 to 10:30 am. Family-friendly and alcohol free the whole way through.

The market runs as always, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Come do your shopping, grab a coffee, spend some time with the stallholders, and enjoy a bit of a soundtrack while you're at it.
