TRACA Chair Nick Cameron chaired today’s bi-monthly meeting of TRACA’s member organisations.

Thriving Kids is a new approach to help young children with developmental delay or autism and their families, carers and kin, get the right support earlier.

The Tasmanian Government is conducting a series of consultation and engagement sessions across Tasmania and online.

Face-to-face sessions will be held in:
Burnie on Monday 18 May
Launceston on Tuesday 19 May
Hobart on Wednesday 20 May

Online engagement sessions will be held:
Wednesday 27 May, 5 pm until 6 pm, for families and community members
Thursday 28 May, 11 am until 12 noon, for service providers

The Draft Aboriginal Heritage Bill 2026 introduces a new legal framework to replace the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1975, proposing best practice protections for Aboriginal heritage and a transparent regulatory system.
