Congratulations to CDTSGT C Baker on his promotion to Cadet Under Officer (CUO).

During the school holidays CUO Baker dedicated his time to attend the recent Cadet Under Officer and Warrant Officer course (CWC's) held by the Tasmanian Battalion. During this course he demonstrated an outstanding display of leadership, courage, responsibility and more.

He will continue to strive for excellence leading his unit at 67ACU. We are all excited to see CUO Baker grow in his new role and lead 67 to greatness.

We’re now recruiting for Term 3 at 67 ACU Youngtown.

If you’re aged 12–17 and looking for challenge, adventure and real leadership opportunities, Army Cadets could be for you. From fieldcraft and navigation to ceremonial parades, first aid and teamwork, cadets develop skills for life in a supportive and disciplined environment.

Parade nights are Wednesdays, 6pm–9pm at Paterson Barracks, Launceston during public school terms starting back on the 29th of July.

📢 Parade Night Change – Tuesday 23 June

Attention 67 ACU Cadets and Families,

Please note that 67 ACU will be parading on Tuesday 23 June instead of our normal Wednesday night parade.

Cadets will be joining members of the 12th/40th Battalion, The Royal Tasmania Regiment - Australian Army for a special engagement activity at Paterson Barracks.

The evening will provide an opportunity to interact with Army personnel, view military equipment and capabilities and gain an insight into Army Reserve service in Tasmania.

🗓 Date: Tuesday 23 June 2026
🕖 Time: 1900–2200 hrs
📍 Location: Paterson Barracks
🎖 Dress: Dress of the Day

This is a unique opportunity to strengthen the connection between the Australian Army Cadets and the Army Reserve while learning more about future service pathways.

This achievement reflects his hard work, dedication and willingness to support others while contributing positively to the unit. We are incredibly proud and look forward to seeing his continued growth and development throughout his Cadet career.

🌺 ANZAC Day 2026 🌺

Today, members of the unit proudly supported cenotaph guard duties at both the dawn service and the 11am service in Longford, with the 11am Longford service attended by Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania. At the same time, the remainder of the unit participated in the main ANZAC Day march and 11am service in Launceston.

We are extremely proud to have supported ANZAC Day commemorations across our local communities and to stand alongside our local RSLs in remembering and honouring those who have served, and those who continue to serve.

💪🚴‍♂️ Final Night of Term 67 – PT Night! 🚴‍♀️💪

To wrap up Term 67, ACU took part in a high‑energy PT night filled with fun and fitness. The evening featured team‑based activities, an RPM‑style bike class, and a range of interactive games that kept everyone moving and engaged.A great way to finish the term, build teamwork, and challenge ourselves physically.

Well done to all Cadets and staff involved! 👏
