Air Experience Flight – RAAF C-130 Hercules

Cadets from 62 ACU had the opportunity to take part in an Air Experience Flight aboard a Royal Australian Air Force C-130J Hercules, flying out over Launceston and the Tamar. Thanks to the RAAF and Air Force Cadets for organising and running the activity, and for giving our cadets the opportunity to participate in the experience.

A great chance to see a different side of the ADF and experience something most people never get to.

We are always welcoming new members, come visit us at Paterson Barracks or visit our web ( https://www.armycadets.gov.au/find-a-unit/unit?ua=62ACU )

Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to parade with the 12th/40th Battalion, The Royal Tasmanian Regiment, Australian Army at the Paterson Barracks.

The Cadets got hands-on experience with the equipment and observed the Battalion conducting training drills that evening. A great chance for the cadets to see Army life up close and connect with the Regiment.

Thank you to the 12th/40th Battalion for hosting us.
