All of our volunteer screeners have been trained through the Skin Cance Skin Cancer College Australasia. Our medical director, Selena Saykao, and one of our volunteers, Amber, gave an update to the college via Zoom during our last training weekend. St. Helens is our first public screening on October 30th-31st.

Well we are rock and rolling! The new Lions Tasmania Skin Cancer Awareness vehicle will be at St.Helens on October 30 and 31st, The Ringaroom Show on November 7th, Scottsdale Show on 14th November and the CH Show on 28th November. What a great training we just had weekend in our skin cancer awareness van at Riverside. Many thanks to Kylie Laverty, Vice Medical Director of the WA Lions Skin Cancer Institute for flying over to give us fantastic advice and training for our volunteer screeners. Thanks to everyone who attended and volunteered to ensure we are ready for our first operational days in St Helens on 30th and 31st October!
