On average, 6 Australian men take their own lives every single day. It’s time to normalise conversations about mental health and acknowledge how important it is to reach out.

Male su***de rates peak in December and January, so we challenge to you take part in the 6 For 6 Challenge and make a change this January. Register as a team or individual and raise money to support Make Runs Maxi in our efforts to positively impact men’s mental health.

What can you do? There’s something for everyone! Run, walk or cycle 6km, hit 6,000 steps or complete 60 minutes of exercise every single day for the month of January. Create your own page and share with your friends and family, and track your goal!

We’re doing it for the six Australian men that will bow out of their battle with mental illness that day, as well as the men still fighting that need our support.

Our Make Runs raffle is now up & running for our annual 'Make Runs Maxi Shield" game in memory of Isaac 'Maxi" Walters, to raise funds for mental health. Thankyou to all who have kindly donated prizes. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Kim or Jodie, or raffle books circulating over the next few weeks, or on match day 26th July.

Tickets will be 1 for $5 or 3 for $10.

Generosity in Action 💛🏏

From cricket matches to football showdowns, from raffle tickets to specially designed merch, communities across Tassie have rallied together in memory of Isaac 'Maxi' Walters and raised an incredible $14,450 for the Make Runs Maxi cause 💥

Whether it was Ulverstone’s charity cricket clash, Deloraine and Longford’s footy day, Sheffield’s Ladies Day, or generous donations at a recent funeral, every effort has helped raise vital funds for mental health support in our regional communities.

👏 A huge thank you to the clubs, with a special shout-out to Westbury Cricket Club, as well as the players and individuals showing true spirit on and off the field. Maxi’s legacy lives on through you.
