Cathy, holding up her first aid certificate after completing our recent course. The Community Champions - Community First Aid course (Kim Johnson First Aid) proved to be very popular, having 18 participants completed the training.

Comments for one of the participants:
"The trainers ( Tim and Kim ) presented the material in a clear, practical way that was easy to understand and apply, which really helped build my confidence. The equipment used during the training was well maintained and up to date, contributing to a realistic and safe learning environment."

We are excited to announce that the next FREE Spring School Holiday Family Fun Day on Thursday the 15th of October from 11 AM – 1PM at The Rocherlea Community Shed (12 Kingbilly Crescent, Rocherlea). Come along and enjoy the day 😄

Emily form CHL and I had a great time connecting with the public at the Northern Suburbs Community Centre this week. It was wonderful to sign up 6 new people to the Snap Send Solve App. This app helps people who are interested in getting involved in resolving community needs.

This event runs weekly and is an amazing after school space for kids to hang out and connect with others in a safe friendly environment.

This video is from our latest Let's Talk Road Safety Event, held in May 2026. It was another highly successful day with 100 attending students from four local primary schools, Waverley Primary School, Ravenswood Heights Primary School,Invermay Primary School Tasmania, St Finn Barr's Catholic Primary School this year.

A huge thank you to all of our Community Champions that attended our Celebration event this Wednesday. It was wonderful to be able to look back over four years of community development and recognise all that we have been able to achieve together. A huge shout out to all of our community members who came along and celebrated with us, without your support and passion we would not succeeded.
