Vinnies Australia visits Waverley Primary School
We had the pleasure of welcoming Warren Brown, Youth and Community Programs Coordinator (North) from St Vincent de Paul Society to visit Waverley Wonders. Warren shared with our group all about The V – Where Community Connects in Kings Meadows — a vibrant community hub offering a welcoming space for people to connect, access support services, and take part in a range of local programs and activities.

He also spoke about the wonderful Vinnies Van service, which provides nutritious meals, helpful information, referrals to support services, and — just as importantly — friendly conversation for people in need.

Waverley Wonders want to give back to the community by baking biscuits to donate to the Vinnies Vans. We are excited to start baking in our new Kitchen and Dining Hall. Following the baking we will meet up with Warren to donate the biscuits!
