The Interhigh Cross Country Carnival was held on Tuesday 26th May at Kings Meadows High School. Despite cold, blustery conditions, our athletes rose to the challenge with determination and resilience, producing outstanding individual, team, and school performances across the day. The tough conditions only added to the achievement, with competitors giving their all and representing their schools with pride and enthusiasm.

Congratulations to our 2026 Shield winners following a fantastic day of competition. In Division 2, Deloraine High School dominated the carnival, claiming all three shields — Junior, Senior, and Aggregate — in an outstanding team performance.

Division 1 provided a much closer contest, with honours shared across the schools. Prospect High School secured the Junior Shield, while Queechy High School claimed the Senior Shield. Consistency across all age groups proved the difference for Riverside High School, who were rewarded with the Aggregate Shield after strong performances throughout the day.

Please enjoy the photographs that follow from all age groups, captured throughout the day by talented photographer Rod Thompson.
