Today is the most important day in the calendar for us at Share the Dignity – it’s International Volunteer Day! 🙌

Today (and every day!) we want to recognise the incredible contribution, passion, and commitment of our volunteer community. Our amazing volunteers play a vital part in our work towards achieving menstrual equity, selflessly giving their time to collect and distribute millions of period products and It's in the Bag donations to those in need. We could not be prouder of the positive impact they help us make, not only in their communities, but beyond!

Join us in saying a big THANK YOU to our hardworking and passionate volunteer community for all that they do by leaving a heart below 🩷

We hope you know just how appreciated and valued you are 🥰

WOWEE. What an absolute whirlwind this year’s has been. We’re taking one big deep breath after the last couple of weeks, and before we share anything else we have some bloody big thank yous.

Thank you to everyone who packed a bag filled with love, dignity and hope. You might never meet the woman or teen who receives it, but your kindness will reach her in a moment when she needs it most. Your compassion will remind her she matters and bring a little light at Christmas.

Thank you to those who donated online to help us fill the gap we are anticipating this year. With the need increasing so dramatically, your support is helping us continue to fill as many requests as possible.

Thank you to everyone who could not donate but still showed up by sharing our posts, commenting, tagging friends and spreading the love. You help this campaign travel further, and that ripple effect helps us reach more people who can give.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers who are still out there counting, checking, logging and getting these bags to local charities in time for Christmas. You are the heartbeat of It’s in the Bag, and we are endlessly grateful for all you do.

And last but not least, thank you to the deadset legends at Bunnings Warehouse Australia. Your ongoing support makes this entire campaign possible, and we truly could not do it without you.

Over the next couple of weeks we will share the final numbers. Keep your eyes peeled and turn on notifications so you do not miss the big reveal. We will also keep showing you where your donations go and the impact they create.

If you did not have a chance to donate this year, it is not too late.
🩷 You can still mail a bag to PO Box 345, Virginia QLD 4014
🩷 Or you can sponsor a bag online here - www.sharethedignity.org.au/event/itsinthebag25/sponsor-a-bag

Thank you for helping bring dignity, love and hope to vulnerable women and girls this Christmas. Your generosity means more than you know.

I’m really worried. With only two days left of , my heart is in my throat because we are nowhere near where we need to be.

We’ve collected 55,785 bags so far. Our goal is 150,000. But to be very honest, requests from our charity partners have already exploded past 170,000. That number keeps me up at night. It means there are tens of thousands of women and girls who may miss out on something so simple and so human.

The last few weeks have been extraordinary to watch. I’ve gone from laughing to crying to wanting to throw my arms around every single one of you who has already stepped up. But as time runs out, the weight of what we are facing is hitting hard.

Because, as amazing as our community is, we have never been able to meet every request. Seeing the need climb this high has been overwhelming, and knowing we won’t be able to say yes to everyone is honestly devastating.

But I’m clinging to hope. I still believe we can reach 150,000 bags if we rally right now.

If you’ve already donated, thank you. Truly. You’ve helped us get this far.

If you haven’t yet, or if you’ve got anything left to give, I’m asking you to spread the word. Tell your mates. Share it online. Text someone who cares. These next 48 hours matter more than ever.

If each of us got just one more person to donate, we could make a massive dent in that number.

Let’s finish strong. Let’s show up for the women and girls who need us most. Two days left. Let’s make every moment count.

With love and urgency,
Rochelle x 🩷

Hey tradies, mates, dads - if you’re heading into Bunnings this November you might spot a big box (it's probably going to be pink). Please don't just walk past, please take action 🙏

You see it is so much more than just a fun decorated box, it is hope, it's dignity and for some, it's a new beginning.

We are asking YOU to make a difference this Christmas. All it takes is filling a bag with the essentials (shampoo & conditioner, toothbrush & toothpaste, deodorant, soap, and period products). Then drop it off at Bunnings by November 30.

Too busy? Donate a few dollars and we’ll do it for you. Either way, you’re giving more than a bag, you’re giving love and hope.

Step up this November. Be the bloke who makes a difference. 💪

So today was our packing day for Share the Dignity it’s in the bag. 💕

Anita & I have been collecting throughout the year and also received a few donations from some generous individuals.

A huge thank you to Gravelly Beach Metalworks
for their wonderful donation of essential products and lovely thoughtful extras. This was made possible through their raffle.

Anita, Ella and myself packed each bag with love and kindness.
We hope we made the Shero’s & Heros’s collecting/checking these bags a bit easier by bagging the essentials separately (except period products). This has helped us in the past.

Filled the box at Bunnings Warehouse Australia North Launceston. Looked like it had just been emptied ready.

We were able to pack
5 Mum & Bub Bags
25 Teen Bags
95 Women’s Bags

Thank you to everyone who had helped 🙏🏻

If anyone has anything to donate or would like to pack. Bag. See info below for the Rotary Club of Legana 💕

Okay Legana, can you help us?

Rotary Legana and the Cormiston (Legana) Girl Guides are proudly supporting the Share the Dignity - It's in the Bag appeal — and we’d love your help over the next few days!

The lovely team at Legana Hair and Beauty will have our collection box out the front of the salon each day, making it easy for you to drop off any donations ❤️

We’ll be packing the bags on Wednesday the 26th, late morning. If you’d like to lend a hand, please come along — the more the merrier!

Anita and I have been collecting throughout the year again to be able to create as many bags as we can and holding our own packing day on 22nd November. We are off to Big W on the weekend for some last bits and pieces so stay tuned. 🛍️

Thank you to Gravelly beach metalworks for their wonderfully thoughtful donation through their raffle. 💕

If you have anything to donate let us know. 🙌

We know it’s a tough year for everyone, take care. 🫶🏼

We are asking each and every one of you to tag just one friend. Yep... just one friend you would tell about .

Imagine if every one of us just tagged one person, that would be over 200,000 more people who knew about .

200,000 more people who could help give the gift of home and love to a vulnerable woman and girl. Wouldn't that be special?

‼️ If you have been tagged, here is the down low: We are asking you to pack a new or pre-loved bag (in amazing condition) with shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant (roll-on preferred), period products and soap/body wash. Add a special touch like a handwritten note or an item you think they would like.

Drop it off to Bunnings between 14-30 November and our volunteers will pick it up and deliver it to a local charity partner.

That's all it takes to spread a bit of Christmas magic for a woman or girl waking up in a domestic violence or homeless shelter 🙏🩷
