Friends Of Elcho Park Equestrian Centre Inc. (FOEP) is affiliated with the Horse Riding Clubs Association Of Victoria (HRCAV), is incorporated and is based at Elcho Park Equestrian Centre, Corner of Bacchus Marsh and Elcho Roads, Lara. FOEP was created in 2008 to manage construction of the new clubroom facility for the two resident clubs (Corio Moorabool Pony Club and Westcoast Adult Riding Club)
and to manage the ground improvements and usage. The FOEP committee consists of an equal representation from both resident clubs and a presiding Chairperson. Elcho Park
Elcho Park is a City Of Greater Geelong council owned reserve, is 30 hectares in size and is ideally set up for horse riding, with 8 permanent surfaced dressage arenas, sand show jumping arenas, fenced riding areas, level 5 to level 1 Cross Country course, 200 + horse yards, horse wash, round yard, toilet and shower blocks. The grounds are continually being upgraded with additional dressage and showjumping arenas now under construction. A magnificent new double story clubroom facility has been constructed and is now in use for club rallies and competitions. The new clubrooms have full amenities including showers, commercial kitchen, and seating for approximately 100 people. Upstairs are club offices and a large viewing / scoring room with outstanding views of the whole grounds. We share the grounds with Corio & Moorabool Pony Club, Westcoast Adult Riding Club and the 2nd Lara Scouts. The grounds are open to the public for use at all times with the exception of Club rallies and competitions. Please check the calendar for grounds availability.
