On the weekend we challenged ourselves at Thunderbird park, being amongst the trees doing the high ropes course. 🌳
With swinging logs and rocky surfaces, we faced them all, overcoming different levels and various fears.

Happy World Scout Day! ⚜️
Today we celebrate the rich history of Scouting. We also celebrate the positive impact Scouting has had on people and their communities.
Worldwide there are 176 countries that represent over 60 million scouting members.
We thank everyone who has put their time and effort into Scouting as a youth member or adult leader, which has shaped what Scouting is today.

Last night we did a campfire cooking night!🔥
With cake and brownies as our choice, the prep began. 🍰
Easily mixing dry and wet ingredients together it was time to let them cook. Our “oven” might have been too hot as our brownies caught on fire, yet our cake charred on the outside but didn’t cook on the inside.
All in all it was a fun night regardless! We know what went wrong and can’t wait to try again next time!

And that's a wrap 🥲
We are back home after travelling more than 8000km in 17 days, passing through QLD, NSW, SA and the NT to visit incredible places like Dubbo, Broken Hill, Flinders Ranges, Uluru and Outback QLD.
We are all so grateful to Scouts Queensland and the Leadership Through Adventure Fund for making this trip possible! The memories we have all had will be cherished for the rest of our lives.

Dinosaur! Grrrrr 🚙🦖
From Camooweal we travelled through Mt Isa and Cloncurry on the way to Winton, stopping in at the Walkabout Creek Hotel as well.
While in Winton, we visited the Dinosaur Stampede National Monument and took part in the 3.5km walk around the site. From there we toured the Waltzing Matilda Centre to learn some amazing history about the area and 'Banjo' Paterson!
