DADAA Ltd is a not-for-profit Community Arts and Cultural Development organisation based in Fremantle, Midland and Lancelin. By facilitating artistic and cultural participation, DADAA promotes the social inclusion of people living with disability or mental illness, or who experience other forms of social, political or economic disadvantage.

This week we had the last of Lancelin Primary School through to complete their mosaic fence posts!

We had the Year 1’s and then finished up with the Pre-Primary’s 🤗 They were all such great listeners and the end results were so creative!

We have had such an amazing time over the last 3 weeks with the entire Lancelin Primary School, and we can’t wait to show you all of their creations together at the Community Art Exhibition 🖼️ They will all be for sale with the proceeds going back to the school 🩵

We are onto our last few weeks of our Winter workshops! ❄️

The second round of workshops with Lancelin Primary School took place yesterday 🤗

The kids were super keen to create their own mosaic masterpieces, and the results were amazing!

We can’t wait to have them all on display together at the Community Art Exhibition 🩵

Yesterday we kicked off our Annual program with Lancelin Primary School 🤗 After the success of last years Flotsam and Jetsam workshops, we wanted to work together again to create something amazing!

The brief this year is mosaics on recycled fence posts.

First up we had the Year5/6 and 4/5’s. With a few instructions they were left to create their own designs and the results were amazing!

We can’t wait to see what the other year groups create over the next couple of weeks.

These will be available to view and purchase at our Community Art Exhibition.

Can’t believe we are more than halfway through our Winter workshops!

Everyone has been creating some really great projects with clay and mosaics being the most popular choices.

It’s not too late to come and join us. We still have 6 weeks to go! More than enough time to come and create your own masterpiece 🤗

This morning we had the second of our 2 school holiday workshops - Air Dry Clay Tiles 🤗

This was a super popular one and booked out so quickly! We can see why the kids loved it 🫶🏻

They made some really great tiles and then we had time to create some little bowls and even creatures 🐉 🐢

That’s it until next school holidays! We are busy brainstorming for the next ones, stay tuned! 🤗 🩵

Today we had our first school holiday workshop - Paper Flowers 💐 (or Cactus!) 🌵

With some quick instructions at the beginning, the kids got creative 🎨 Mugs and tins were decorated, flowers and cacti were cut out and they ended up with some really great creations!

Unfortunately next week’s workshop is all booked out, but keep an eye out for the ones closer to the next school holidays!
