On Monday we had the official opening of our new refurbished facility at Robert St. We commenced proceedings with a medley of songs from our Whittlesea U3A Choir accompanied by our Ukulele Group. They finished with the song " I Am Australian " with everyone singing along.

Our President Glen Wall welcomed our special guests, Bronwyn Halfpenny MP, Member for Thomastown and Lawrie Cox, The Mayor of City of Whittlesea.

We then enjoyed morning tea and a chat. Our members enjoyed looking at our class displays and Neighbourhood Watch stall and seeing items in our new display cabinets.

Many thanks to Glen Wall and Natalie Lim for all of their help organising the day, along with our Committee and Volunteers.

Everyone enjoyed the day.

Last Saturday we had another successful Bunnings BBQ. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who gave up their time to help on the day.
Even Toby the Trex made an appearance and Jeanette looked after him well. Unfortunately he was just a little bit too old to give him an enrolment form.

Hi Everyone
Morning Tea will be held on Monday May 4th starting at 10am. at Robert Street Campus Robert Street Lalor it would be most welcomed if you could bring a plate to share for morning tea as we have done in the past. There will be guest speakers.
Members who have not been before will also have the opportunity to tour the new building and to see for themselves this state-of-the-art facility. We hope to see as many members there as possible.
Please sign your name in the book provided as you enter, also if you have a Birthday in May please indicate with a tick in the book so it can be acknowledged and also there will be a lucky door prize, hope to see you all there.

Our Knitting group has been very busy during this 1st Term and this picture shows all of the items they have donated to KOGO, ( knit one, give one ). Baby bonnets, booties and clothing along with scarves, beanies and children’s clothes. Great effort from everyone.

Hello Everyone

At the Committee meeting it was decided to change the name of the venue we have been referring to as Peter LALOR Campus. It will now be referred to as ROBERT STREET CAMPUS. There is no change to the street address. The reason for this change is to totally separate it from the school. The full address for this venue is now ROBERT STREET CAMPUS, 34 ROBERT STREET LALOR 3075
