🇦🇺🇮🇩 Our eye in the sky - the P-8A Poseidon - recently participated in a maritime patrol with our Indonesian and Royal Australian Navy mates. ⚓✈️

Along with HMAS Parramatta, Indonesian Navy ship KRI Frans Kaisiepo, and an Indonesian Air Force Boeing 737-2X9 Surveiller, we took part in a regional presence deployment in Indonesian waters to build relationships and enhance our joint capability.

These deployments are an integral aspect of working with our partners to maintain a peaceful and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.

“Through the various upcoming engagements, we will aim to increase our interoperability with regional partners and build on the strong relationship that already exists between Australia and other like-minded nations in the region,” Commanding Officer of HMAS Parramatta, Commander David Murphy said.
