“Let Me Fly” - Stories of Migrant Women

Join us for “Let Me Fly”, a powerful stage production sharing the stories, experiences and voices of migrant women from CALD communities.

Developed through a series of conversations with victims from CALD communities, the project brings community members, acting participants and newly arrived young people together as active volunteers, creating an authentic and diverse representation of migrant experiences on stage.

Azza at Lakemba Mosque for Brother Khaled Malas

The Lebanese Muslim Association wishes to advise that an aza will be held for our brother Khaled Malas at Lakemba Mosque this Monday evening, 31 August, following Isha prayer.

An Aza will also be held in Melbourne, where Mr Malas resided. However, out of respect, we have decided to hold a similar gathering here in Sydney, where Mr Malas also has family and friends.

We ask that the community come together to offer support, prayers and condolences to the Malas family as they grieve the loss of a beloved father, husband, son and brother.

May Allah grant Khaled Jannatul Firdaus and grant his family patience and comfort.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.
