Lake Grace Artists' Group A vibrant group of creative, active locals, based in and near Lake Grace, Western Australia. And we're always looking ways to expand this list!

The Lake Grace Artists’ Group has come together since the 1970s to facilitate and participate in exhibitions and artist’s workshops, create public artworks, collaborate on community artworks and to study visual arts. The members of the artists' group include professional artists, community artists, craft persons and dabblers. Our skills are just as diverse: we have those that are landscape painter

s, sculptors, textile artists, animal and portrait drawers, book artists and floral painters, photographers, woodworkers and cultural interpretation consultants.

SUNDAY 18TH OCTOBER 2026.
Combined event with lake grace visitors centre and Shire of Lake Grace

THE ONLY HOSPITAL FOR MILES ||. EXHIBITION.
this will be to celebrate the 100yrs of the Australian inland mission Hospital
The event will include.
The AIM being open for every one to visit.
A commemorative plaque being unveiled
Celebrating the history of the hospital.
And the saving of the building.
Opening of the exhibition at the Lake Grace regional artspace.
Follower by afternoon tea on the lawn between the visitors centre and the Artspace
This is open to everyone in the Shire or any one that has been involved with the AIM hospital

But it's great to see our night art group enjoying the space every second Tuesday.
Any young adult or above are welcome to join us.
Just turn up, everything supplied
$10 per night.
Free tea and coffee available
Lake grace regional artspace.
7pm to 9.30 or when you've had enough.
No experience needed just the need to chill out
Draw and be with like minded people.

Lake grace artist group & Lake Grace Regional Art space are hosting a exhibition /installation to celebrate 100yrs of the Lake Grace Post Office, since it has been open.
Lenore Gladish who now owns the post office has selected treasures from the past along with our 450 post cards .I was hoping for a thousand but 450 was wonderful.
We asked people to send us post cards from all over the world.and they did, its wonderful to come and just stroll through and read where they all came from
We also have copies of some post cards dating back to 1906.
In amongst the post cards are hand painted and drawn post cards from our local artists and some from rockingham, and busslelton.. all beautiful 😍
Thanks to Geoff Sabourne who kindly opened our exhibition with a few good stories . Geoff was the last official employee of the post office before it changed to a franchise with Terry and Lenore Gladish now owning the post office.
