A very special thank you to Councillor Joe Wilkinson for visiting our kindergarten and assisting with a successful Community Projects Grant application to help preserve the historical significance of Labrador Kindergarten 🦋

Always a pleasure to visit Labrador Kindergarten! 🏡🙌

Loved catching up with the team to hear about the exciting things happening at the kindy and their big plans for the future – and even better, seeing the kids having an absolute blast! From playing and exploring to reading and enjoying everything the centre has to offer, they were all smiles.

With roots going back to the 1950s, it’s fantastic to see upcoming projects that will celebrate this rich history and honour the incredible people who helped shape it.

Speaking of history, their little community library is still going strong! Hard to believe I was there for its official opening in 2019 – time really does fly.

I’m proud to keep supporting this wonderful centre. They’re such a valued part of our community, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

The event is held to ensure that educators can receive well-deserved recognition and appreciation for their contribution to Australia’s future leaders.
