**Heads Up for All in Tin Can Bay to Northern NSW, and Beyond**
Please tag and share this with your family and friends.
A low-pressure system is expected to develop on March 28th (the one I’ve been mentioning). This system will interact with a combined trough. The low is expected to form around Hervey Bay!
The low is predicted to move south on March 29th, coming very close to the coastline and approaching the southeast Queensland coastline. It is expected to move slowly south. The combination of the trough and the low-pressure system could lead to flash flooding and river flooding over a period of three days, starting from the 28th in the north and extending south from the 29th.
Winds will begin to increase late on Friday and will continue into Saturday, moving south as the system progresses. At this stage, wind gusts of up to 80 km/h are expected along the coast and in exposed areas.
The predicted rainfall data for this low is currently available, but it may increase or decrease depending on the path of the low.
Please note that this system will NOT develop into a cyclone.
