It might be a drizzly day tomorrow….. but PERFECT WEATHER to treat yourself to scrumptious Devonshire Tea or Coffee paired with scones so divine, they'll melt your heart with their fluffy goodness, accompanied by rich jam and cream. Uniting Church Hall, conveniently nestled behind the Op shop, Yaldwyn St, Kyneton. 8.30-1pm.

What an incredible day connecting with passionate Country Women’s Association ladies from across Victoria at the 98th AGM State Conference, where we proudly handed over a substantial collection of used mobile phones for refurbishment to support domestic violence victims and generously donated numerous bags of food to the Helping Hands Mission.

What an extraordinary privilege it was for the Kyneton CWA Day Branch to receive a nomination at this year's Community Awards ceremony held at the Mechanics Institute! Being acknowledged alongside remarkable individuals, groups, and volunteers across the Macedon Ranges was truly exhilarating. We achieved an impressive 4th place, and the CWA group feels like champions regardless. Congratulations to these phenomenal ladies 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

THANK YOU TO OUR KYNETON CWA VOLUNTEERS THIS WEEK DURING NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS WEEK………

Kyneton’s Country Women’s Association (CWA)are an extraordinary group of ladies ranging from young teens to mature, life long lived gals that quietly help hold our community together. Across our rural area, CWA women have fed families during disasters, quietly raised much needed funds for our local hospitals & schools & for those that need a helping hand. These ladies create a place where nobody feels forgotten. Where strong friendships are made, all with a smile & a laugh.

They are proof that strength does not need to be loud. A hall full of CWA women with tea, scones, jam and whipped cream & a lot of determination, and compassion has changed more lives than most people realise. These women preserve traditions while solving real modern day problems, and they do it with resilience, humour, and an incredible sense of community.

The CWA isn’t just an organisation — it’s one of Australia’s great networks of kindness in action.
We need to say Thank You to our volunteers this week during National Volunteers Week….

It is always such a proud moment when the Kyneton CWA Day Branch ladies donate to the wonderful Good Friday Appeal. This year, $1000 was raised through our monthly cake and craft stall and morning Devonshire Teas held at the Rotary Community Uniting Church monthly market. Thank you to everyone who supports the Kyneton CWA. Your kindness and generosity change lives.
