Established in 1923, The Masonic Lodge of Koo Wee Rup celebrates 90 years in 2013. Freemasonry offers men a principled way of life, a sense of belonging and of personal growth. And the gentlemen of Koo Wee Rup Masonic Lodge promote and practice this principled way of life with emphasis on tolerance, equality, charity and honour, towards all others, through respect, kindness and tolerance. At Freem
asons KWR this is exhibited from local charity events that the lodge undertakes each year, along with voluntary community involvement also. Members of the KWR lodge range in all ages from 20 years of age to 92 years of age with the oldest member of KWR lodge having been a member for over 60 years. KWR Masonic lodge partakes each year in major charitable events, and is involved in promoting goodwill among the community. This is displayed in the local Breakfast program at KWR Secondary college that promotes goodwill among students and teachers over a hearty breakfast once a month. Our annual Scholarship program also assists students in achieving their goals and realizing their dreams, while some members of the KWR lodge are also actively involved in the Victorian Masonic Motorcycle Association (VMMA) who actively pursue the tenets of Freemasonry by uniting motorcycle riders from all parts of society whilst raising the profile of motorcyclists and freemasonry via charitable and social means . Koo Wee Rup Masonic Lodge is a country lodge through and through, inviting wifes and partners of its members to dine with them in the South each month after every meeting. A forward thinking lodge, KWR lodge is embracing a modern future. We welcome visiting Masons of all lodges with open arms, and new members and interested persons to contact us for more information on our principled way of life, where our principles really do make a difference.
