Celebrating Mid Autumn Festival by remembering,”Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” John‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬ ‭CSB‬‬. Also, a sneak peek over the fence to see how our neighbour Kogarah Public school is going with their new building project!

Happy Mid Autumn Festival!

After a morning of stealing at an SRE seminar at St George Girls High, Kogarah, and a communion service at St Patrick’s Green, Kogarah, a reflection on a simple and powerful prayer, “Abba, 阿爸, Father, Help! Abba, Abide, wth me” “And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father! ” So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then God has made you an heir.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Martin Luther King Jr is often associated with the line, “eleven o’clock on Sunday morning is the most segregated hour in America.” At work, at school, at the shops you see people of different backgrounds side by side; walk into a church, and you can find a division sharper than the world’s. Is 11:00am still our most segregated hour on Sunday mornings? “There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male and female; since you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭28‬ ‭CSB‬‬
