Today we celebrate the incredible volunteers who are the heart of our school communities. From fundraising and tuckshops to governance, advocacy and community events, P&C members help create stronger, more connected schools for students and families across Queensland.

P&C Day is an opportunity to recognise and thank the parents, carers and volunteers who generously give their time, skills and energy to support their school communities.

Whether you’re cooking at a sausage sizzle, running a meeting, helping in the tuckshop or quietly working behind the scenes - thank you. Your contribution matters.

There’s something special for every mum, grandma, or loved one. Don’t forget to check the timetable and send your child along with their voucher or money so they don’t miss out!

🌸 Mother's Day Stall Starts Today! 🌸

Our Mother’s Day Stall kicks off today! Please check the timetable to see when your child is scheduled to visit.

💐 If your child has a voucher, it will be ready for them to use at the stall. Please remind them to let the volunteers know they have one.

💐 If sending cash, please place the money in a sealed envelope or bag with the amount clearly written on the front.

💐 The stall will also be open during both 1st and 2nd break for Year 6 students, as well as for anyone who forgets their money on their allocated day.

Thank you for your support, and we hope the children enjoy choosing something special!

Be sure to check the stall timetable to see when your child’s class will be attending.

The stall will also be open during 1st and 2nd break for Year 6 students and anyone who may have forgotten their money on their allocated day.

Skip the hassle and pre-purchase a voucher via Flexischools!
⏰ Pre-orders close THIS FRIDAY.
When your child visits the stall, our volunteers will have their voucher ready for them to use.

🎁 Raffle
Don’t miss our raffle with a number of beautiful hampers up for grabs! Tickets can be purchased at the stall.
🎫 Tickets are 50c each

🌟 Foodie Superstar Wanted! 🌟

The Willows State School P&C is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Tuckshop Convenor to manage the daily operations of our school tuckshop.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys working in a school environment, supporting healthy food choices, and being part of a friendly, supportive school community.

👩‍🍳 About You

• Experience in staff management, supervision, and leadership
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or canteen operations (preferred)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Strong technical ability
• Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Enjoy working with children in a school environment

✅ Essential Requirements

• Current QLD Working with Children Blue Card (must be obtained prior to commencing)
• Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to meet QLD food safety and workplace health & safety requirements
• Compliance with P&C Operating Guidelines and Code of Conduct
