What a fantastic few days at the 2025 Australian Golf Open at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club. I’ve been very lucky to play here many times, and to see how the best players in the world navigate it, is truly something special.

Melbourne certainly turned on the weather today and we have seen some unbelievable shots on this incredible Sandbelt course.

I won’t ever forget the sound of a Rory McIroy drive…. So, here it is for you all to enjoy too.

A view of Golfers Heaven from the plane recently...this is a very unique partial view of the stunning Melbourne Sandbelt Golf region folks, containing some of the best courses on the planet, only 30mins from Melbourne's CBD.....now you know where they all are, you come and see what all the fuss is about!

When you finish all of these, head further down the coast to the Mornington Peninsula and play some cracking courses like Moonah Links GC, Centenary Park Golf Club, The National GC, RoseBud Golf Country Club, Settlers Run, St Andrews Beach Golf Club, Eagle Ridge GC and The Dunes to name but a few... 😀🏌⛳🎯

I had the honour of playing at Royal Melbourne Golf Course again in a Corporate Event recently. An amazing experience as always - the course and facilities are incredible in every way, and seeing Adam Scott's clubs that he used to win The US Masters in 2013 and the display cabinet of the clubs of golfing legends like Kel Nagle used was an unexpected delight.

I get asked a lot if I have played the famous Royal Melbourne Golf Club in the magical Sandbelt area of Victoria - and yes, I have been very privileged to play there several times.

I have also thoroughly enjoyed watching it test the worlds greatest players in The Presidents Cup tournaments in recent years - it is spectacular, and a real honour / treat to play on such perfect fairways and greens, it rightly maintains its position in the worlds Top 10 courses.

Hope you enjoy the photo's, sadly my 4-ball in these rounds were not with Tiger, Adam and Dustin, but thought you would appreciate seeing them there! 😀⛳🏌

Chilly and raining in Melbourne this week, and of course this pop's up in my memories from 9 years ago!

So, I thought I would share some photos of Golf de Tina in the beautiful South Pacific Island of New Caledonia instead!

Well, the last course of my visit is the exact opposite of The Rockies, down in the south east prairies of Alberta, at Brooks Golf Club.

Certainly no hills here, but plenty of tricky fairways and fantastic hospitality, a true local golf club where everyone knows everyone, great facilities, banter and food……the ‘Nineteenth Hole’ Bar was a very happy place, as it should be!

….. and I can highly recommend the legendary sandwiches at the Brooks Hotel too!

Time to head back to Melbourne now, but not before a quick visit to Golf World - which was a little slice (no pun intended) of golfers heaven ….

What a trip, what a country, what an amazing overall experience….. already looking forward to my next trip here! 🏔️⛳️🇨🇦🍁👌

Brewster's Kananaskis Ranch Golf Course for a round - more breathtaking views and can confirm the ball goes much further at such altitude - that’s going to please any golfer!

Delightful course, you will see how tight and challenging the fairways are from the photos, very friendly and helpful team there.

Breathtaking views and impeccable course condition here at course near Canmore in the Rocky Mountains.

Super friendly and professional staff too from initial 'welcome' all the way through to 'goodbye' - great experience all round, I highly recommend anyone to book a golf experience here....... and thanks for the quick tour Jim!
